Daisy Winters

Daisy Winters is an original story about an eleven-year-old girl''s unconventional, yet deeply loving relationship with her mother and what happens when this essential mother/daughter bond is harshly broken. In facing some dark days, Daisy makes a daring choice to pretend that her mother, Sandy, is still alive so she doesn''t have to go live with her fanatically religious Aunt Margaret. Doug, the young suspected drug dealer who lives across the street, has his suspicions about Sandy''s disappearance which forces Daisy to become even more resourceful and clever in executing her plan. Daisy''s and Sandy''s journey is about challenging convention, the unexpected joys and sorrows life throws at us and ultimately how to embrace life one moment at a time.
