Sergio, a professor of Marxism who can’t provide for his family, and Sergei, a Soviet cosmonaut stranded in the Mir space station, share a common passion: amateur radio. Through this hobby, both men will be able to help each other in facing the dramatic changes of their countries.
For 18 years the Tacoma Sister City International Film Festival committee has been passionate about providing a memorable and enriching opportunity to celebrate international friendship through “film, food and fun”. It is in this same spirit of friendship, and concern for our global and local communities that we offer our 2021 Festival via this virtual format. Each ticket is good for one viewing of the film anytime between the festival's start on April 19th, to the end of the Festival on April 25th at midnight. All films will be presented in their original language with embedded English Subtitles. All proceeds go toward the TSC Mission and Programs. Important!!
