This is a brand-new, very special fundraising event for the Tallgrass Film Association. The dinner will include a cocktail hour and an amazing meal prepared by Wichita’s favorite chef, Bobby Lane of Chester’s Chophouse. The evening will have some special guests, including this year’s Ad Astra honoree, Pam Grier. Includes admission and reserved seating to the Tallgrass Opening Night Gala Film Bathtubs over Broadway and the opening night party at Candela after the film. Please note that this is a separate event from the Film Festival and that Tallgrass Tallpasses will not provide entry into the dinner. The cocktail hour starts at 4:45. The dinner will be held in the Egyptian Room at the Wichita Scottish Rite Center on Wednesday, October 17th. Seating is extremely limited for this event, so get your passes now!
Tallgrass Film Association entertains, educates and inspires audiences in the Wichita community and beyond by showcasing the best of independent films from around the world through an annual 5-day film festival, year-round special screenings and events, filmmaking workshops and a traveling road show. We strive to preserve the cultural tradition of film as a communal adventure. Movies bring us together: they entertain, spark conversation, build community and forge new relationships.
