The Art of Filmmaking on Zoom

Join filmmaker Nitzan Mager for a one-hour workshop and conversation about moviemaking on zoom. Nitzan will share her experiences about making the Zoom-based web series Quarantine, I Love You, from conception to post-production and beyond. Learn tips and techniques for writing, casting shooting and editing in this new medium. PLUS: Watch the live premiere of the second episode of Quarantine, I Love You Season 2 and participate in an optional writing exercise. The workshop is free of charge thanks to support from WSU’s Shocker Studios, where Nitzan is currently teaching film students how to make their own films on zoom. Nitzan is the first resident storyteller for Harvester Arts and’s Mothership Screenwriters Lab, a creative incubator that provides an immediate support circle for a female-identifying screenwriter, whose role as a caregiver has had an impact on her creative career.
