Kvodo is a dark, gripping and morally complex drama involving a brilliant judge, Micha Alkoby, his son, Shay and their diverse community. The judge is up for a promotion when Shay is involved in a hit-and-run accident in which he is the guilty party. Just as Micha is about to turn Shay in, he learns the victim is a member of a crime family, the kind that runs its own system of justice. A cover-up ensues, with many unexpected twists and turns. Among the show’s many international accolades are the Grand Prize at the Series Mania Festival in France, 2017, and the Bevie ® Award at the 2020 Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema. On October 29, there will be a LIVE Q&A with the show’s creators.
