2026 HHT March 12 Peculiar Mackinac

Have you ever heard of the Mackinac Walrus? Or about the time a sea serpent was spotted near Mackinac Island? Join Kyle Bagnall, park naturalist for Mackinac State Historic Parks, to hear bizarre but true tales from one Michigan’s most historic places. Bagnall will also uncover an explosive souvenir from the Battle of 1814 and a mammoth cave hoax which spread across the nation, brining history to life in unexpected ways.
