This documentary explores the life and work of the Pulitzer-prize-winning career of the cartoonist, Art Spiegelman. Best known for MAUS, MAUS Part II, and In the Shadow of No Towers, Spiegelman is one of the most significant cartoonists in American arts and letters.
In a time when MAUS has been challenged and banned in schools for depicting the Holocaust, DISASTER IS MY MUSE is an urgent reminder of the power of art and memory.
