Inspired by Christine Jorgenson's story, the movie explores deep and sometimes controversial (especially by 1953 standards) topics like gender reassignment, fetishes, sexuality, and acceptance. Before the film, there will be a brief panel with a member of the trans community to discuss trans history and the trans experience today. After that, the short BOYS BEWARE (1961), will be screened before leading into the film.
