  • A robbery gone wrong sends two men down drastically different paths. Recently released from prison, Shaul winds up in war-torn southern Israel but does not get the welcome home he expected. Meanwhile, his former partner-in-crime, Nissan, a newly Orthodox rabbi, seeks absolution for his tremendous guilt during the Days of Atonement between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The popular comedy writers/performers Guy Amir and Hanan Savyon (MAKTUB, SJFF 2018 Opening Night) can now add feature-film directing to their credits with this zany, comedic crime-caper about compassion set near the Gaza border.
