Screamfest Horror Film Festival is a 501c3 nonprofit organization showcasing new and classic genre films from around the world. In addition to the annual 10-day festival in October, Screamfest hosts monthly screenings and events to keep the horror community engagged. Screamfest is a female-run nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting talented filmmakers and writers in the genre.

America’s largest and longest running horror film festival, Screamfest Horror Film Festival is a nonprofi arts organization committed to the support and development of independent filmmakers and screenwriters of the Horror genre. The ten day festival provides a platform for emerging writers and directors to showcase their work to the industry and the horror loving public. Known as the 'Sundance of Horror,' the festival is best known for discovering Paranormal Activity in 2007. Other past premieres include 30 Days of Night, Let the Right One In, The Grudge, The Fourth Kind, The Collection, Trick ‘r’ Treat, The Human Centipede and Diary of the Dead. Wes Craven, John Carpenter, Sam Raimi, Clive Barker, Eli Roth, James Wan, Zack Snyder, William Friedkin, John Landis and James Gunn are just some of the filmmakers who have supported the festival year after year.
