AN IN PERSON FILM EVENT! A sultry, queer reimagining of the French classic La Piscine, Other People’s Bodies unfolds over one sweltering summer weekend where desire, jealousy, and unfinished business refuse to stay buried. Olivia, a modern dancer, is vacationing with her husband Seb at a secluded country house when their fragile calm is shattered by the unexpected arrival of Mateo—Olivia’s former best friend and, briefly, Seb’s lover. The three haven’t seen one another in eight years, since Mateo abruptly cut ties after a painful betrayal. Tensions spike when Mateo brings along his young, magnetic lover Zaki, igniting old wounds and new temptations. Matters only intensify when two more figures from the past appear: Gabriella, a former dance colleague, and her husband Fabian—Olivia’s lover before Seb. As bodies gather and boundaries blur, long-simmering passions, regrets, and desires collide in an emotionally charged reckoning where nothing—and no one—remains untouched.
