Troublemakers 3.0

Troublemakers is back for a third year in a row! The Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Reel Youth, and Love Intersections has gathered a new team of aspiring young filmmakers and experienced "troublemakers" to work together through an eight-session filmmaking program that captured our local queer, trans, and two-spirit histories. The unveiling promises to be a gathering of talented young filmmakers, inspiring troublemakers, cast and crew, friends and family. Troublemakers: Lydia Kwa, Ellen Woodsworth, Joy Masuhara, Louise Pohl, Sekani Dakelth, Steve Niven, Lily Shinde, Paul Wong, James Chamberlain, Aerlyn Weissman, Tori Phillips. Youth: Kiran Singh, Fatemeh Kiannejad, Erin Russell, Sheridan Tamayo-Henderson, Andi Velez, Jacoby MacDonald, Ezra Avdeyev, Ifetayo Alabi, Jae Lew, Jackson Wai Chung Tse, Lia Peralta. The Troublemakers series will be preceded by 2018 Coquitlam GSA student films: The Letter, by Port Moody Secondary; Siblings in Transition, by Terry Fox Secondary School; and Coffee, by Inquiry Hub.
