Afterword (另一個國度)

Chou Yuan, a writer from Taipei, clears out vacated apartments for a living. One day, he unknowingly enters the apartment he left nine years earlier, after his lover Chi Chi left for New York without a word. Inside, he discovers an undeveloped roll of film and the unfinished novel he once left behind. As his memory of Chi Chi begins to fade, Chou Yuan travels to New York in search of her, where he meets Jane, who begins filming his search through the city.

Yi-Chiang Lin is a Taiwanese filmmaker and photographer based in New York. His work explores memory, distance, and urban life. His debut feature, AFTERWORD, had its world premiere at the Kaohsiung Film Festival in 2025.
