Lai Yuqing, she/they, originally from Fujian, is a director, actor, and musician. Her directorial feature debut, WHISPERINGS OF THE MOON, a lesbian love story, had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival. Her work has also been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival, BFI Flare, Tokyo Talents Shortlist, and she was also a Sundance Ignite finalist.
