La Salsa Vive

A vibrant journey through a genre born of Afro-Cuban rhythms—mambo, guaracha, guaguancó—fused with the drive of New York jazz, and one that found its second homeland in Cali, Colombia. With historical rigour, the film traces the musical voyage back and forth between Havana, New York, and Cali, showing how salsa became a shared language across cultures.
