In this dark Irish Christmas comedy, the down-on-their luck Cosgrove family devises a plot to rob their presumably wealthy neighbor, who has been living alone on his farm for years. Through a series of miscommunications, competing egos, and bad decisions, they bumble through their plan, but soon discover their neighbor is not who he seems. As the Cosgroves attempt to navigate an increasingly dangerous situation, they find their family bonds may be the only thing standing between them and disaster.
